System operation :

The PetSafe® bark control collar has 15 levels of electrostatic stimulation. First we us low levels of stimulation. If the barking continues, the intensity of the stimulation will increase until the barking stops. Once the dog has learned to reduce its barking, the initial warning boosters are reduced. As a safety measure, if your dog barks 15 times or more during a 1 minute 20 seconds period, the barking collar will automatically stop for 3 minutes.

Use it when your dog barks at the slightest external stimulation, as soon as he is alone, he shows his joy or his fear noisily and the neighbors complain. Please note that these collars are « excessive anti-barking » and should not be used permanently. Care must be taken to leave these collars to the dog as soon as he is in a situation where he may bark, so that the punishment remains potentially present.
